Must:
We are seeking a skilled candidate with experience in AWS, VMWare, and Windows servers. The ideal applicant will have a strong background managing VMWare and virtualized systems as well as experience with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and IIS. You should possess hands-on experience with SAN, enterprise compute, and OS patching, along with a solid understanding of DNS, HTTP, SMTP, and SNMP. Additionally, we expect excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining both on-premises and cloud servers, especially within the AWS environment. Your role will include configuring and managing virtualisation using VMWare, as well as maintaining physical storage through SAN. You'll perform OS patching, upgrades, and optimize performance while ensuring system and file security across various environments. Your duties will also involve maintaining documentation, collaborating with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and deploying and managing Linux servers. Furthermore, participation in an on-call rotation will be part of your responsibilities.
