Requirements
Must:
I am looking for someone with at least 5 years of cloud support experience in a technical role. You should have strong SQL skills for data analysis and report creation, as well as a working knowledge of PowerShell scripting for report automation and system tasks. An understanding of C# is also necessary for troubleshooting and advising, even if you’re not coding directly. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud environments is essential, along with familiarity with APIs (REST/SOAP) and SOA applications. I need you to possess strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills and to have a methodical approach. Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and collaborative—are required, and you must be eligible for security clearance.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will have you providing advanced (Tier 4) support for complex technical issues escalated by Tier 2 and 3 teams. You will troubleshoot production and test system issues using logs, traces, telemetry, and SQL analysis. Additionally, you will be responsible for scripting solutions and automating tasks using PowerShell and similar tools. Simulating customer issues in local/test environments for detailed root cause analysis will also be part of your duties. I expect you to collaborate with the Cloud Ops and R&D teams to deliver fixes, tools, and documentation. Your contributions will help improve internal processes and response times through tooling and knowledge-sharing. Lastly, you will support the UK customer base with occasional flexibility to liaise with US counterparts.
