Requirements
Must:
- I have 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, ideally within a technology-led or software environment.
- I possess a strong background in, or exposure to, financial systems and process automation.
- I demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- I can balance strategic vision with hands-on delivery.
- A product management certification (e.g., AIPMM) is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- I define and deliver the product strategy for internal Finance and Customer Service systems.
- I collaborate with Product Owners and Development Teams to turn business needs into actionable product roadmaps.
- I oversee major technology initiatives, including the development of a scalable, modern billing system, AI-driven automation within Customer Services, implementation of machine learning for forecasting and insight generation, and enhancements to support multi-language and multi-currency customer operations.
- I ensure products meet both functional and non-functional requirements, including security and data integrity.
- I conduct market and competitive analysis to identify innovation and optimization opportunities.
- I communicate product updates, releases, and roadmaps effectively across teams and stakeholders.
Description
I am offering the opportunity to take ownership of internal systems across Finance and Customer Services as a Product Manager for a leading UK technology-driven logistics organization. As I join at a pivotal time of growth and transformation, I will help to modernize and automate key internal services through the use of AI, machine learning, and big data. This role provides a genuine chance to shape a growing product management function within IT. The position is based in Southampton with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days per week in office) and offers a salary of £65,000 along with additional benefits.
