Requirements
Must:
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including VLAN configuration and management, WiFi networks and access points, switch configuration and maintenance, APNs, and mobile data connectivity.
- Familiarity with Internet of Things (IoT) devices and networks.
- Experience in IT support or a similar technical role is desirable.
- Knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, reliable, and collaborative working style.
Responsibilities
- Deliver effective support across hardware, software, and infrastructure environments.
- Oversee and maintain wired and wireless network systems, including VLANs, switches, access points, WiFi networks, and APN configurations.
- Assist in the management and deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) devices across multiple sites.
- Provide support for both in-house and third-party applications, ensuring smooth daily operation for users.
- Handle a broad range of technical tasks independently, maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines.
- Participate in an out-of-hours support rota, which includes some weekend coverage.
- Occasionally visit sites across the UK and Europe.
