Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in AWS infrastructure design, deployment and system administration.
- Broad understanding of Microsoft hybrid cloud infrastructures with a good working knowledge of on-premise infrastructure.
- Networking skills including switching, load balancing and firewalls.
- Experience working with commercially focused software engineering teams using Agile/DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills; effective working independently and within teams.
- Experience managing complex projects.
- Highly proficient in at least two of the following technologies: Docker (AWS ECS), Terraform, Ansible, or CDK, AWS IaaS (EC2, VPC, Transit Gateway), CloudFlare, Windows Server (IIS), Linux.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support hybrid infrastructure across AWS and on-premise environments.
- Optimise systems for performance, scalability, security, and cost.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve DevOps practices and automation.
- Monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
- Maintain clear documentation and continuously improve processes.
