Requirements
Must:
- Commercial IT Support experience.
- Tenacious approach to learning new technology and processes.
- Happy working in a team environment, prepared to share specialist knowledge with colleagues.
- Experience with Linux Server OS.
- SC Cleared or eligible for clearance.
- Commercial Networking knowledge.
- Firewall Configuration.
- Switch and router configuration.
- Understanding of PKI (public key infrastructure) and key management.
Responsibilities
- Implementation, monitoring and support of the companies IT Infrastructure and Networking.
- Adherence to IT Support and service processes.
- Working closely with a project manager and technical support teams.
- Proactively monitoring IT Systems to ensure 24x7x365 uptime.
- Continuous support and improvement of the UK IT Infrastructure by working on upgrades and other improvements.
- Input into the development of the IT dashboard for the Network Operational Centre.
Description
We are offering a shift-based NOC Engineer role, allowing remote work for all shifts outside of office hours and half of the day shifts, with only 1-3 days a month required in our Chandlers Ford office. This role comes with a competitive base salary of up to £41,000, 26 days of holiday, a 5% pension scheme, and life insurance of 3 times the salary. You will have the opportunity to expand your skills across a range of technologies and platforms in a supportive team environment.
