Requirements
Must:
- Demonstrable experience in 2nd or 3rd line IT support
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows platforms
- Familiarity with public cloud environments
- Experience with virtualisation technologies (VMware, VxRail, Nutanix)
- Experience with storage arrays (Dell Compellent, HPE Nimble)
- Experience with patch management software
- Knowledge of backup concepts and software
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
- Endpoint protection and anti-virus management experience (SentinelOne)
- Experience with commercial incident, problem, and change management tools (BMC Remedy, Halo preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced 2nd and 3rd line IT support, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex issues
- Focus on finding the root cause and implementing permanent solutions
- Work with Windows (or Linux) platforms, with a willingness to deepen knowledge in both
- Administer visualisation technologies and storage arrays
- Manage patching processes using software like SCCM or Intune, and handle backup concepts and software
- Use commercial Incident, Problem, and Change management tools
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, procedures, and incident resolutions
- Provide regular reports as needed
