Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a QA Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in software testing, specifically focused on test automation. You should be proficient in C# and familiar with automation tools like Selenium or Playwright. Experience working within Agile/Kanban teams is essential, along with a strong understanding of shift-left testing principles. You should have a solid knowledge of API testing and backend system validation, as well as familiarity with performance and security testing tools and best practices. Additionally, you must be comfortable using Git and modern version control workflows, and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will enhance and maintain our evolving test automation framework using Playwright or Selenium. You will write clear and maintainable test scripts and participate in Agile ceremonies, providing early feedback on testability and quality concerns. Expanding and maintaining regression and feature test suites will also be part of your responsibilities. You will conduct exploratory testing during feature development, review test automation code, and contribute to internal test tools and utilities. Supporting performance testing efforts using tools such as Azure Load Testing, JMeter, or Locust is also key, along with contributing to backend/API testing and assisting with security testing initiatives.
Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a QA Engineer who enjoys working across both frontend and backend systems and is passionate about automation. You will be a key contributor to the quality assurance efforts of a cutting-edge Microsoft 365 solution, helping to shape the technical direction of the automation framework and support the evolution of quality engineering practices within our QA team. The position is hybrid, primarily remote, with scheduled monthly in-office collaboration days.
