Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar role.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Full, clean driving license.
- In-depth knowledge of hardware and software.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and software trends.
- Experience with Windows Server 2012+ management.
- Advanced Group Policy management skills.
- Proficient in Active Directory, Sites and Services, and DNS management.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, support, and maintain internal IT equipment within the business.
- Work both individually and as part of a team to resolve IT issues.
- Travel to different sites as needed to provide support.
- Continuously develop and enhance your skillset within the IT support team.
Description
This is a great opportunity for a passionate IT Support Engineer to join our well-established team based in Southampton. We offer a generous salary of up to £28,000, a pension scheme, and full career support along with ongoing training. The successful candidate will be joining a growing company, with excellent opportunities to further develop their career in IT support. Desirable qualifications include MCP or MCSE certifications (though these are not essential), experience with Office 365 support, Azure virtual server support, and familiarity with IT support helpdesk software, among others.
