Requirements
Must:
- Experience with data modelling and data governance (including use of tools)
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP), and relational databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server)
- Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Clear understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize them
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and strong communication
- Ability to translate business requirements into data solutions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organizations data and information architecture maturity plan, in alignment with the Technology and Transformation Strategy
- Evolve the as-is Data flow diagrams to a more comprehensive data & information architecture
- Identify and align data types (Master, Transactional, Reference etc.), systems/applications, and sub-domains
- Define data standards, naming conventions, and data classification policies to ensure consistent and accurate data management practices
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Quality Engineers, and Data Warehouse Engineer to design and optimize database structures, data warehouses, and data lakes for efficient and scalable data storage, computing, and retrieval
- Coach, develop, and line manage Junior Data Architect
