Requirements
Must:
- I have strong experience working in a data quality function, specifically focusing on improving the data literacy of stakeholders to enable them to manage the quality of the data they own.
- I possess strong project management skills related to data and information improvement projects, with a track record of successfully implementing changes.
- I have proven experience in data quality management, data analysis, or related roles, preferably within the social housing sector.
- I am proficient in SQL and IT systems at an intermediate to advanced level.
- I have a solid understanding of data quality concepts, including experience in reporting data quality and integrity, as well as reporting outcomes in KPIs.
- I understand the operational context of Housing Associations and RSLs, including their regulatory responsibilities, such as the Statistical Data Return.
- I will provide specific examples in my supporting statement that demonstrate how I meet these criteria.
Responsibilities
- I will lead projects aimed at enhancing data quality and ensuring effective use of data across the organization.
- I will ensure that my activities support the organization’s Strategic Plan, Data Strategy, and other relevant strategies.
- I will act as a subject matter expert in data and information management, sharing my knowledge and expertise across the business while promoting data literacy.
- I will develop and implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures in collaboration with Data and Information Owners and Stewards.
- I will deploy a data quality framework and create tools for Data and Information Owners to self-serve, and I will conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address data quality issues.
