Security Engineer

- I expect candidates to have knowledge and hands-on experience in the management of IDS/IPS, Firewall, VPN, EDR/XDR, mail filtering, and other security products. - Experience with Security Information Event Management (SIEM) tools, including the creation of basic correlation rules and administration of SIEM, is preferred. - Candidates should have expertise in TCP/IP network traffic and event log analysis. - Network troubleshooting skills are required. - I look for knowledge and hands-on experience in penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and security tools like Tenable Nessus and Kali Linux. - Familiarity with ITIL disciplines such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management is beneficial. - Experience in infrastructure design and management in mission-critical environments is preferred. - An understanding of Virtual Infrastructure and Windows environments is advantageous. - I value effective communication, organizational, problem-solving, and presentation skills. - Self-motivated individuals who can work independently while supported will thrive in this role. - I appreciate candidates who can build trusting, collaborative relationships but also demonstrate a strong sense of accountability and ownership. - Knowledge of ISO 27001 and CE standards is desirable.
