Requirements
Must:
We require candidates to possess the following:
- Experience in designing, installing, configuring, and managing on-premise network infrastructure, including layer 2 and 3 switching and routing.
- Experience managing network security hardware and software, including firewalls and network intrusion detection systems.
- Familiarity with network hardware and software, particularly Cisco and Meraki solutions.
- An in-depth understanding of data center network architectures, ICT disaster recovery strategies, and LAN/WLAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/MPLS/SD-Access networking technologies.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to:
- Implement network security measures, including firewall configurations, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access control lists.
- Maintain the network architecture, including Cisco routers and switches and Cisco ASA/Firepower firewalls, while troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Manage Meraki firewalls and SD-WAN appliances.
- Assist with maintaining Cisco AnyConnect VPN, NAM, and ISE.
- Help with the implementation and maintenance of a Cisco ACI network.
- Manage the performance of major routing protocols such as EIGRP and OSPF.
- Conduct network capacity planning and support the rollout of upgrades and improvements across LAN/WLAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/MPLS/SD-Access and Data Centre.
