Requirements
Must:
- A strong track record of senior-level leadership.

- Experience of managing organisational transformation or large-scale change programmes, ideally within local government.

Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse and high-performing portfolio of services including Human Resources, Organisation Development, Communications, Marketing, Governance, and Local Government Reorganisation.
- Work closely with the Managing Director, Directors, elected Members, and partners to ensure services operate with excellence.
- Shape long-term strategic and operational frameworks to guide the councils through the next two years and beyond.
- Play a key role in the planning and implementation of Local Government Reorganisation activity at local and countywide levels.
- Represent both councils with authority and credibility in complex political environments.
- Champion a collaborative, high-performance culture, ensuring the workforce is inspired, supported, and empowered.
- Maintain a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer focus, ensuring our commitment to excellent service remains unwavering.
