Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV with BC transition experience).
- A blend of strategic thinking and hands-on problem-solving.
- Strong understanding of core business processes (finance, supply chain, operations, inventory, manufacturing, or similar).
- Proven ability to translate business needs into system requirements and deliver improvements.
- Experience working with external developers and managing technical delivery.
- A proactive, sleeves-rolled-up mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge, guide, and influence stakeholders.
- A track record of driving ERP transformation in a growing or complex business.
Responsibilities
- Act as the Business Central subject matter expert for the entire organisation.
- Lead the end-to-end optimisation of Business Central, ensuring it meets the needs of a fast-growing, product-led business.
- Diagnose system issues, gaps, and inefficiencies and translate them into clear, actionable development requirements.
- Work closely with external developers to deliver fixes, enhancements, and new functionality.
- Provide ERP leadership across the business, helping teams understand best practices.
- Map business processes, challenge existing workflows, and design improved workflows within Business Central.
- Own the ERP roadmap, prioritising improvements based on business value and operational impact.
- Ensure strong governance, documentation, and change control around all system developments.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure Business Central supports their needs.
- Provide hands-on support during month-end, system changes, and key operational cycles.
- Drive user adoption, training, and continuous improvement across the organisation.

We are seeking an experienced ERP & Business Central Lead to take ownership of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment in Manchester. This permanent role involves a hybrid working model with three days in the office per week and offers a competitive salary range of £75,000 - £95,000.
