Must:
We are looking for a candidate with a successful track record in a Security Architecture function, paired with experience leading large client engagements. You should possess strong knowledge of Security Architecture principles, such as SABSA, along with familiarity with published frameworks or guidelines from organizations like NIST and NCSC. Additionally, you need the ability to design and document effective security controls aligned with business objectives using a risk-based approach. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the capability to assess complex situations, identify risks, and recommend effective solutions. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are needed to interact with all levels, from executives to end users. Knowledge and experience of Cloud Security would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
As our Managing Security Architect, I will be responsible for embedding security best practices and secure by design principles into our diverse client engagements. I will collaborate closely with teams and architects across the organization to ensure security is integrated into their solutions rather than being an afterthought. I will take a leading role in helping our clients understand their security challenges. By adopting a risk-based approach and leveraging industry-standard security architecture frameworks, I will design security controls to address both current and future cyber security threats while ensuring alignment with our clients' overall business objectives. This role offers a significant opportunity to lead at the forefront of cyber security, delivering value to our client base.
Description
This is a remote role, and candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance. This position is permanent and home-based, with a salary ranging from £75,000 to £90,000 per annum.
