Requirements

Must:
- Experience as a Laptop/Desktop Hardware Support Engineer. - Previous service delivery experience, preferably in a multi-vendor environment. - Strong communication, analytical, and customer service skills. - High attention to detail, particularly when recording asset and incident data. - Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL frameworks (experience with service and asset management tools is beneficial but not essential) is a plus.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair faults on workstations, thin clients, printers, and desktop equipment. - Source and replace hardware components as required. - Install, configure, and relocate desktop equipment. - Build and configure workstations, including network port reconfigurations. - Prepare and build laptops and other mobile devices to meet customer specifications. - Encrypt, repair, and re-accredit laptops. - Ensure compliance with security protocols, including software encryption and system lockdown. - Update asset management records and maintain audit trails. - Handle incident management and request fulfilment using a Service Management toolset.

In this role, you will be at the heart of providing essential hardware support to a prestigious government client. From hands-on break/fix activities and IMAC tasks (Installs, Moves, Additions, Changes) to workstation builds and network port configurations, your technical know-how will truly make a difference. You will be working 5 days a week onsite and must be eligible for DV (Developed Vetting) clearance to be considered.
