Requirements
Must:
- 5 years of ERP experience is desirable
- Proven experience within the maritime/shipping industry is advantageous, but not essential
- Strong understanding of ERP governance, standards, and best practices
- Experience managing system upgrades, enhancements, and vendor relationships
- Ability to support daily maritime operations including fleet management, maintenance, procurement, inventory, and logistics
- Proficient in commercial and financial processes such as pricing, contract management, and revenue recognition
- Strong analytical skills for process optimization and reporting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Experience in delivering user training and documentation
- Work authorization in the United Kingdom required
- Proficiency in English required
Responsibilities
- Act as system owner for the ERP platform, ensuring availability, integrity, and performance
- Define and maintain ERP governance and best practices across the business
- Manage system upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and vendor relationships
- Support daily maritime operations through the ERP system
- Ensure accurate and timely capture of operational data
- Resolve day-to-day ERP issues impacting operations
- Monitor system usage and data quality for reliable reporting
- Partner with commercial and finance teams for pricing and revenue processes
- Develop ERP-based dashboards and reports for decision-making
- Support budgeting, cost control, and financial close processes
- Analyze existing processes and lead ERP-enabled improvements
- Standardize workflows across vessels, regions, and departments
- Act as a change leader for improved processes and system functionality
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP users across various teams
- Translate business requirements into system solutions
- Deliver user training and ongoing support to maximize system value
- Build strong relationships with senior management to align ERP with business strategy
