Requirements
Must:
We are looking for someone who has previous experience in an IT support or systems role, ideally within the motor trade or automotive industry. You should have strong technical skills across software, hardware, and network systems. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, can-do attitude are essential. Additionally, you should be capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide day-to-day technical support across all departments, efficiently resolving issues and maintaining a professional demeanor. You will assist with system maintenance, troubleshooting, and software updates, as well as support hardware installations, upgrades, and configurations across multiple sites. Monitoring and resolving helpdesk tickets promptly will be an important part of your responsibilities. You will also liaise with third-party IT providers and suppliers to ensure smooth system operations. Additionally, you will contribute to wider IT projects and initiatives led by the IT Manager and support the business in the implementation and integration of AI tools and technologies. Remote cover at weekends may be required when needed.
Description
This position is based in Hinckley, with flexibility for occasional remote or on-site support. The role offers a salary of £36,000 per annum and is full-time, requiring 42.5 hours of work per week from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
