Responsibilities
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, I will support and enable the Microsoft Technology Stack through IT Change and troubleshoot IT Problems, following ITIL v4 guidelines in a cutting-edge and highly secure environment. My responsibilities will include supporting our technical environment, which features Microsoft technologies, Meraki networking, and SaaS solutions (including our bespoke workshop management system), with much of the access managed by Single Sign-On (SSO). I will work closely with the Systems Architect to design, implement, and maintain solutions within our Microsoft Technical Stack. I will also collaborate with stakeholders to devise improvements to their teams' processes using Power Platforms and automation.
Additionally, I will assist with IT Change and Problem Management, applying advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills while working closely with internal colleagues and external suppliers to resolve issues promptly. I will support IT governance, ensuring security best practices and disaster recovery plans are followed while raising concerns, risks, and cyber incidents to the IT leadership team. Maintaining detailed documentation for system configuration and procedures, I will partner with the Helpdesk team to eliminate blockers in resolving incidents and processing service requests. I will provide guidance and support to the wider IT team on infrastructure design and build, and I will offer insights regarding system/device performance and error logs. Please note that I must be able to commute to the Stansted office, as this role is hybrid with two days a week required in the office.
