Senior Cloud Engineer - Birchanger

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, I will have you support and enable the Microsoft Technology Stack through IT Change, troubleshooting IT problems while following ITIL v4 guidelines in our cutting-edge and highly secure environment. You will be responsible for maintaining our technical environment, which includes Microsoft technologies, Meraki networking, and SaaS solutions (including our bespoke workshop management system), most of which are accessed via Single Sign-On (SSO). Your passion for technology and understanding of business systems and solutions will be essential. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with the Systems Architect to design, implement, and maintain solutions within our Microsoft Technical Stack. - Working with stakeholders to devise improvements to their teams' processes using Power Platforms and automation. - Assisting with IT Change and Problem Management, using advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills while working closely with internal colleagues and external suppliers to resolve issues promptly. - Supporting IT governance by ensuring security best practices and disaster recovery plans are followed, while raising concerns, risks, and cyber incidents to the IT leadership team. - Maintaining detailed documentation for system configuration, procedures, and troubleshooting, and collaborating with the Helpdesk team to eliminate blockers in resolving incidents and service requests. - Providing guidance and support to the wider IT team on infrastructure design and build, as well as offering information regarding system/device performance and error logs. Please note that commuting to our Stansted office is required as this is a hybrid role, with two days a week spent in the office.
