Cloud Engineer

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, I will support and enable the Microsoft Technology Stack through IT changes and troubleshoot IT problems, adhering to ITIL v4 guidelines in our cutting-edge and highly secure environment. I will be responsible for: - Supporting our technical environment, which includes Microsoft technologies, Meraki networking, and SaaS solutions (including our bespoke workshop management system), with access managed by Single Sign-On (SSO). - Working closely with the Systems Architect to design, implement, and maintain solutions within our Microsoft Technical Stack. - Collaborating with stakeholders to improve their teams’ processes using Power Platforms and automation. - Assisting with IT change and problem management according to ITIL v4 guidelines, employing advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and collaborating with internal colleagues and external suppliers to resolve issues promptly. - Supporting IT governance by ensuring security best practices and disaster recovery plans are followed, as well as raising any concerns, risks, and cyber incidents to the IT leadership team. - Maintaining detailed documentation for system configuration, procedures, and troubleshooting, and working with the Helpdesk team to eliminate blockers in resolving incidents and processing service requests. - Providing guidance and support to the wider IT team on infrastructure design and build, and offering insights regarding system/device performance and error logs.
