Requirements
Must:
- You should have experience defining, building, and running CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and the ability to work alongside developers to support and optimize it is essential.
- A strong understanding of automation to reduce manual overheads is important.
- You should have the capability to lead monitoring, performance, and scalability improvements.
- An understanding of how to integrate security and disaster recovery into all deliverables is required.
- Experience with Azure (DevOps, Front Door, SQL, Cosmos, DNS, Entra/AD).
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, release management, and monitoring tools (Grafana/Azure native).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Bicep).
- Experience with containerized .NET and Node.js applications (Docker).
- Familiarity with WAF, secrets, certificates, and mail relays.
Responsibilities
- I will allow you to define, build, and manage the CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
- You will collaborate with our developers to enhance and optimize our cloud infrastructure.
- Your role will involve automating processes wherever possible to streamline operations.
- You'll be responsible for leading efforts in monitoring, performance, and scalability improvements.
- I expect you to build security measures and disaster recovery plans into all solutions that you deliver.

This is not just another platform role focused on maintenance. Our business is scaling quickly, and we are still in the process of building our platform foundations. You will have the autonomy to design, implement, and run systems your way, with a clear path to taking ownership of our platform function as it evolves. You will benefit from ownership from day one, with the flexibility to set things up according to your vision. This position offers a fast track into leading platform engineering within our organization. We operate on a hybrid setup, with the expectation of you being in Stockport 1-2 days a week, and we offer a competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £65,000.
