Requirements
Must:
- Solid SQL fundamentals
- Some Python (data manipulation, scripts)
- Exposure to Azure data tooling
- Curious, switched-on, and wants to get properly good at data engineering
Responsibilities
- Supporting and developing data pipelines using Azure (ADF, Databricks, SQL)
- Working alongside senior engineers on ELT patterns and data modelling
- Helping maintain Azure SQL datasets used across the business
- Supporting analytics teams by delivering clean, well-structured data (not just dashboards)
- Learning how data platforms are monitored, documented and improved over time
Description
We are offering a proper junior Data Engineering role for someone eager to learn how modern data platforms are built. Our senior data team works in a B2B environment, providing the opportunity to engage with real production data and proper pipelines. You will receive mentorship from experienced engineers and have the chance to build a solid foundation for your career. This role, based remotely in the UK with occasional trips to Manchester, offers a clear pathway to a mid-level Data Engineer position within a modern Azure stack.
