Must:
We are looking for someone with proven experience in a 2nd Line or Systems Administrator role within an MSP or a similarly fast-paced environment. You should have strong knowledge of Active Directory, including user/group management and Group Policy. Hands-on experience with Azure and Azure Active Directory is essential, along with a solid understanding of Office 365 administration. We expect you to be proficient in troubleshooting Windows operating systems, networking fundamentals, and backup solutions. Additionally, excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset are crucial. We value a proactive approach—someone who is eager to learn and comfortable handling multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide 2nd line technical support across a diverse range of SME clients. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues within Windows Server environments, as well as managing and maintaining Active Directory and Group Policy. You'll support Azure AD/Entra, Office 365, and Exchange Online. Participating in system upgrades, migrations, and project work will be part of your daily tasks, along with contributing to documentation and process improvements. We also expect you to escalate complex issues when necessary and collaborate closely with senior engineers.

This position is based in Hitchin, with hybrid and on-site options available. We are offering a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary ranging from £30-40K, depending on experience.
