Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with at least 3 years of experience in embedded software design and implementation. You should have strong skills in C and/or C++, with familiarity in Linux environments. Exposure to Rust or Go is beneficial but not essential. Experience with simulation tools, such as MATLAB or NumPy, is desirable. A solid understanding of VoIP and network protocols is also important. Please note that this role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll join the development team and take on a hands-on position in designing, developing, and testing. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Creating architectural and detailed designs
- Developing algorithms and embedded software code in C/C++
- Performing unit testing and debugging
- Supporting integration and acceptance testing alongside the Test & Acceptance team
- Writing technical documentation and participating in code/design reviews
- Acting as the technical authority on smaller projects when required
- Assisting project engineers with the coordination of technical activities
