Requirements
Must:
We are looking for an experienced web developer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience. You should have a solid understanding of both front-end and back-end development, as well as be skilled in building bespoke WordPress themes and plugins. A strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles is essential. Additionally, you should be adept at troubleshooting, problem-solving, and finding creative technical solutions. We seek a confident communicator and natural mentor who enjoys helping others progress, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
In this hands-on technical role, you will lead by example, mentor junior developers, and drive best practices in coding, architecture, and performance. Your responsibilities will include building, maintaining, and enhancing modern, responsive websites and applications. You will lead technical delivery from concept to completion, ensuring quality and performance at every stage. Developing secure, scalable back-end systems using technologies such as PHP or Node.js will be key, alongside creating efficient, maintainable front-end solutions with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular). You will also review code, share knowledge, and promote a culture of continuous improvement, manage multiple development projects while balancing priorities effectively, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive digital experiences. It's important to keep up to date with emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices.
