Must:
We require a minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in web development. You should possess advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including frameworks such as Angular or React. Proven experience in developing bespoke WordPress themes and plugins is important, as is a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. We value excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Experience in mentoring or leading developers is highly desirable. As a strategic thinker, you should be able to contribute to technical planning and growth.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for building high-performing, visually engaging, and user-focused web solutions from concept to delivery. You will develop and maintain responsive websites and web applications using modern technologies and frameworks, implement secure and scalable back-end systems and integrations, and optimize performance, accessibility, and SEO. You will lead code reviews, establish best practices, and promote continuous improvement. Furthermore, you will translate briefs and requirements into functional and efficient digital solutions. You will oversee multiple development projects, ensuring deadlines and standards are met while collaborating with wider teams for cohesive delivery. Staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends will also be part of your responsibilities.
