Must:
We need you to have deep experience with WordPress, including custom themes, plugins, and complex builds. You should possess strong front-end skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design. An understanding of MySQL, APIs, and performance optimisation is essential. You must be confident with Git, deployment pipelines, and modern development workflows. A natural leader who enjoys collaboration, mentoring, and sharing knowledge is what we’re looking for. Additionally, you should have awareness of accessibility, security, and UX best practices. Bonus points if you have any experience with Laravel or modern PHP frameworks.
Responsibilities
Your role will involve taking the lead on developing and delivering WordPress websites that are fast, secure, and scalable. You will support and mentor junior developers, assisting them in growing their skills and confidence. Collaborating closely with designers, Project Managers, and clients will be necessary to bring ideas to life through clean, well-structured code. You will keep development processes sharp, from Git workflows to CI/CD and deployment best practices. Staying ahead of the curve by suggesting new tools, frameworks, or smarter ways to work will be an essential part of your job. Some projects will involve Laravel, which is a nice bonus, but not the core focus.
