Requirements
Must:
- Strong technical background in enterprise infrastructure environments including servers, storage and networking
- Experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V and Microsoft server technologies
- Knowledge of cloud technologies including Azure, AWS or hybrid infrastructure environments
- Enterprise networking experience including technologies from vendors such as Cisco or Aruba
- Experience designing or supporting infrastructure solutions within complex IT environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience supporting technical sales engagements or presales activity is advantageous but not essential
Responsibilities
- Support Account Managers throughout the technical sales lifecycle, helping to design and present infrastructure solutions that meet customer requirements
- Work closely with customers to understand business challenges and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Design infrastructure solutions across datacentre, networking, virtualisation and cloud environments
- Provide technical input into RFPs, RFQs and tender responses, particularly within public sector procurement processes
- Deliver technical presentations, workshops and demonstrations to customer stakeholders
- Collaborate with leading technology vendors including Cisco, Aruba, Lenovo and Microsoft to develop customer solutions
- Support the continued growth of both public sector and private sector accounts across Wales
Description
We are a well-established and growing technology solutions provider supporting customers across Wales. Our exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Solutions Architect (Presales) is based in South Wales (Caerphilly) with some regional travel and hybrid working options. This newly created role offers excellent scope for career progression as the regional business continues to grow. We are looking for candidates with a strong technical infrastructure background who are interested in transitioning into a customer-facing presales role.
