Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in cloud security or a related infrastructure security role.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS (Microsoft Azure preferred), including knowledge of Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, and Azure Policy.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC) tools and methodologies.
- Good understanding of cloud services, including virtual networks, storage, compute resources, and security features.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps/SRE practices and tools for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) in a cloud environment.
- Good understanding of security best practices in cloud computing, including IAM, network security, and data protection.
*Desirable:*
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access Policies, Identity Protection, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Authentication Methods, Access Reviews, and Entitlement Management.
- Familiarity with cloud networking services such as Azure App Services, Azure SQL Server, Azure Front Door, and Azure Firewall.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmarks).
- Certifications such as AZ-500, AZ-104, AZ-305, CCSP, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, etc.).
- Familiarity with endpoint and application security hardening.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will focus on both Cloud Security and Platform Engineering, and your tasks will include:
- Implementing and enforcing cloud security governance guardrails and best practices, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data across multi-cloud environments covering Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Designing and implementing identity and access management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC), and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) while adhering to the least privileged model.
- Developing and deploying cloud infrastructure solutions that meet our organization's requirements for scalability, security, and performance.
- Implementing monitoring and alerting solutions for the cloud platforms to ensure optimal performance, availability, and cost-efficiency.
- Developing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration-as-code (CaC) solutions using Bicep and PowerShell.
- Configuring and monitoring cloud-native security tools (e.g., Defender for Cloud and Endpoint, AWS GuardDuty, WAF, SIEM solutions).
