Requirements
Must:
- 5 years experience as a back-end engineer with deep expertise in C# and .NET Core
- Strong understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures
- Extensive experience with AWS serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, Step Functions, S3)
- Proficiency with relational databases, especially Aurora MySQL, and solid data modeling skills
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT), and data protection fundamentals
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CDK)
- Comfortable containerizing applications with Docker and deploying via ECS/Fargate or EKS
- Commitment to testing excellence across unit, integration, and contract testing
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on cross-functional collaboration
- Self-motivated problem solver who enjoys mentoring others and driving engineering excellence
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance REST APIs and microservices using C# and .NET Core
- Build cloud-native applications using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, and S3
- Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, QA, and Architecture teams to deliver high-quality features within sprint cycles
- Work with Aurora MySQL to design schemas, optimize queries, and ensure performance across distributed systems
- Contribute to event-driven architectures using AWS SNS, SQS, and Step Functions
- Champion a strong testing culture by implementing and maintaining unit and integration tests with xUnit or NUnit
- Lead by example in CI/CD best practices using GitHub Actions and CodePipeline for reliable, automated deployments
- Mentor junior engineers in coding standards, secure-by-design principles, and system design
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize distributed systems using AWS CloudWatch and Grafana
- Proactively identify and resolve technical debt, driving continuous improvement across codebases
