Requirements
Must:
- 2–5 years experience in a 2nd line or Tech Bar support role
- Strong macOS support experience, with additional exposure to Windows, iOS, and Android
- Hands-on administration of Microsoft 365 services
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD / Entra ID and identity management
- Experience working with ITIL-aligned service desk or ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
- Strong troubleshooting ability with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise incidents in line with SLAs
- Active SC Clearance, transferable
- ITIL Foundation certification (desirable)
- Microsoft 365 Administrator or Apple certifications (desirable)
- Experience with security and access management tools such as Intune, Okta, Zscaler or Workspace ONE (desirable)
- Previous experience supporting VIP or high-profile users (desirable)
- Exposure to ISO 27001 or ISO 9001 regulated environments (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Deliver 2nd line support via the Tech Bar, both onsite and remotely
- Diagnose and resolve escalated issues across macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android
- Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Configure and support end-user hardware such as laptops, mobile devices, and printers
- Manage and support software services including MDM solutions, VPNs, and Microsoft 365
- Support onboarding, user provisioning, and day-to-day technical queries
- Escalate complex issues to 3rd line teams or external vendors while retaining ownership
- Create and maintain knowledge base documentation and contribute to continuous improvement
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers
- Ensure adherence to ISO 27001 standards and ITIL service management processes
Description
We are seeking a Tech Bar Engineer (Contract) to deliver high-quality 2nd line technical support, providing both face-to-face and remote assistance within secure, cloud-based environments where reliability and performance are critical.
