As an IT Service Desk Analyst, I need you to ensure that all incidents, problems, and requests for assistance are logged properly, prioritized correctly, assigned, and responded to in a timely manner in accordance with our agreed service level standards and procedures. It’s essential that internal customer standards are met and reviewed based on our business expectations. You should maintain positive relationships with our customers and fellow support staff to facilitate effective communication and swift resolution of issues.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating with customers and IT staff regarding emergencies, withdrawal of services, routine and unscheduled maintenance, and the introduction of major amendments to our service provision. You will manage the expectations of all Simplyhealth staff through verbal and electronic communication. Additionally, you will adhere to our escalation procedures for service incident management and respond to escalated, complex, and high-impact user calls promptly. Regular administrative and housekeeping activities must be conducted using appropriate tools and procedures as part of your duties.
