Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in a 3rd Line/Senior Infrastructure Engineer role
- Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- On-Prem infrastructure knowledge (Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
- Strong VMware experience
- Experience with automation tools and Scripting (PowerShell, ARM/Bicep, Terraform, or similar)
- Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Firewalls, VPNs)
- Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring solutions
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, etc.) (desirable)
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments (desirable)
- Exposure to DevOps practices or CI/CD pipelines (desirable)
- Security and compliance knowledge (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Act as a senior escalation point for 3rd line technical issues
- Design, support, and optimise Azure cloud services
- Maintain and support on-prem infrastructure, including Servers, storage, and networking
- Manage and support VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
- Develop and maintain automation solutions to improve efficiency and reliability
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects
Description
We are looking for an experienced 3rd Line Engineer to join our IT team in North London. Our hybrid work model allows for 3 days on-site and 2 days of homeworking. We offer a competitive salary of up to £55K along with a bonus package. You will play a key role in providing high-level technical support and in the design, automation, and improvement of our infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments.
