Must:
We are looking for an IT Support Engineer with experience in user IT infrastructure, including Windows 10/11 environments. You should have a background in hardware support for PCs, laptops, printers, phones, and peripherals. Familiarity with networking components such as routers, switches, and access points is essential, along with basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience. We value strong IT problem-solving abilities and an eagerness to learn. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Exposure to cloud technologies, such as Azure, and an understanding of security principles would be desirable.
Responsibilities
As an IT Support Engineer, I will be responsible for providing daily end-user support through helpdesk ticket management and escalation. My role includes installing, repairing, and maintaining hardware, such as PCs, laptops, monitors, and printers. I will recommend hardware upgrades or replacements as needed and maintain accurate hardware and software asset records. Additionally, I will train staff at all levels on the effective use of IT resources and will be involved in setting up, dismantling, and relocating desks and workstations.

The IT Support Engineer position offers a salary of up to £30,000 plus benefits. This is an onsite role based in Stockport, conveniently commutable from areas such as Manchester, Cheadle, Wythenshawe, Wilmslow, and Marple.
