Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
- Professional experience in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field or equivalent military experience
- Proven experience using project management methodologies to deliver business value
- Experience managing budgets, including budget and spend tracking
- Strong understanding of various project and portfolio management methodologies
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence outcomes and organize teams
- Excellent influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong track record in current and emerging technologies
- Experience collaborating with global teams
- Ability to coach and mentor others
- Demonstrated customer focus and ability to build strong customer relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication
- Change-oriented with a focus on process improvements
- PMP, ScrumMaster, or related Project Management certifications
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business, functional partners, and technology leadership to define functionality and specify requirements
- Outline multi-generational project strategies aligned with expected outcomes
- Define execution methodologies and project management practices for the program
- Organize project teams of internal and external technical and functional experts
- Manage day-to-day execution of multiple interdependent projects with global technical teams
- Coordinate execution across projects and drive shared approaches and outcomes tracking
- Support execution teams by resolving roadblocks and interdependencies
- Manage project risks, scope changes, and non-standard events throughout project life
- Oversee stakeholder communication and progress reporting at various organizational levels
- Ensure quality deliverables match stakeholder expectations
- Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction through established metrics
- Perform initial and final financial reviews; ensure ongoing budget tracking
