Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college - Professional experience in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field - Strong knowledge of software design and coding principles - Experience working in an Agile environment - Familiarity with versatile implementation options - Knowledge on technical topics, such as caching, APIs, data transfer, scalability, and security - Initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems - Skills in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements, and estimating efforts - Ability to analyze the impact of technology choices - Skilled in negotiation to align stakeholders and communicate a single synthesized perspective to the scrum team - Knowledge of the competitive environment - Understanding of technologies in the market for buy vs build recommendations and driving market timing decisions - Ability to influence through others and build support for ideas - Capability to mentor others in critical thinking skills - Experience in integrating new processes and technology to add value

Responsibilities

- Operate closely with product management teams to create a strategic direction for development needs - Direct the team with a clear set of requirements while balancing new features, defects, and technical debt - Ensure seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from stakeholders including Product Managers and Developers - Demonstrate superior product and industry knowledge to gain a competitive edge - Interact with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirements gathering and product feedback - Work with cross-functional teams to deliver major products and features - Collaborate routinely with UX, Architecture, and engineering teams - Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews to elaborate on personas - Demonstrate persuasive skills to ensure alignment between customer, product manager, and engineering teams - Own the release and sprint backlogs for MVPs and quarterly releases - Manage and prioritize the backlog to ensure readiness for sprints - Engage with the development team to facilitate discussions and provide clarifications - Translate unstructured work requests into actionable user stories - Partner with Development Leadership to ensure healthy processes - Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership to TPMs - Coach others in Agile methodology
