Must:
We are looking for candidates with a degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, HNC or equivalent, or similar level of knowledge and experience. You should have knowledge and understanding of the Aerospace industry or Aviation products, along with experience performing reliability engineering activities.
Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst, I will ensure that all business requirements from both internal and external customers are met in terms of data integrity, reporting accuracy, and performance insights in a timely manner. I will support key business portfolios using appropriate data analysis and problem-solving techniques to provide regular performance and trend reporting for products, services, or platforms.
I will perform statistical analysis, including data categorization, trend analysis, variance analysis, and identify significant factors affecting business performance. My role will involve monitoring key metrics through dashboards and early warning systems to identify risks or opportunities for improvement.
I will standardize data analysis and reporting methods across the business and be responsible for producing, visualizing, and presenting data insights to various stakeholders. Additionally, I will conduct data reviews and provide actionable recommendations for business improvement, working closely with the Programs and Engineering teams to provide regular feedback on current status and potential issues.
Description
In my day-to-day responsibilities, I will develop and manage individual work plans and analysis schedules, communicating any risks or blockers in a timely manner. I will utilize relevant tools and data sources to carry out accurate and insightful data analysis. My role will also involve creating, reviewing, and improving data-related policies and procedures to enhance quality and consistency. I will support the estimation and analysis of resource hours and costs for project proposals or ongoing operations, and ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security regulations. Communicating complex data findings clearly and effectively through reports, visualizations, and presentations to a range of stakeholders will also be essential. We offer a salary range of £37,200 to £46,500 per annum, depending on experience, along with a non-contributory pension, life assurance, group income protection, private medical cover, and flexible holiday options. Please note that to be eligible for this role, BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance is required and must be maintained.
