Must:
We are looking for candidates who have significant commercial experience building backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript. You should possess strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities and have a proven track record of taking ownership from design through to delivery. Experience in contributing effectively to Agile ceremonies and helping teams adapt and improve is also important.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure backend services using Node.js and TypeScript. You will collaborate within a cross-functional Agile team to deliver high-quality outcomes and lead by example during complex challenges. Additionally, you will mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence, while also tackling critical issues and driving solutions when it matters most.
Description
We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with strong TypeScript and Node.js experience for our exciting, rapidly growing division. This key role will allow you to have a real impact as you work on a complex, multi-environment ecosystem made up of numerous repositories powered by modern microservices. These services are deployed to AWS via automated CI/CD pipelines and Terraform infrastructure.
