Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who:  
- Are comfortable with a regular commute to Central London and Watford areas (typically up to once a week).  
- Can be part of an out-of-hours on-call rota (one week in four).  
- Possess the ability to take ownership, assess, and troubleshoot incidents methodically.  
- Have excellent organizational skills and can reprioritize tasks effectively.  
- Maintain a professional attitude while working with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.  
- Have a customer service focus and a desire to go above and beyond.  
- Understand IT best practices and procedures (ITIL, Change Control).  
- Have experience writing internal support documentation.  
- Are punctual with good attention to detail.  
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
- Have a passion for IT and a desire to learn new technologies.  
- Have experience in supporting and troubleshooting business applications.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to:  
- Manage incident types effectively, including triaging incidents and service requests in ITSM, identifying major incidents, diagnosing complex issues, and resolving tickets within SLAs.  
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as patching and antivirus checks.  
- Provide on-site support three days a week and offer on-call support one week each month.  
- Lead desktop-related project work and assist with infrastructure and networking projects.  
- Create and maintain support documentation.  
- Provide an escalation point for other Service Desk team members and become a lead expert for specific technologies within our team.
