Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in map development with major standards
- Strong experience with Seeburger BIS6 and BIC Mapping Designer
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with different EDI message formats (EDIFACT, ANSI X12, VDA, ODETTE, XML, IDoc, Oracle Flat files) is considered a strong advantage
- Experience with AS2, SFTP, OFTP/OFTP2, and VAN communications
- Experience with onboarding EDI partners
- Experience using or supporting an ERP system (Oracle R12 preferably)
- Ability to execute basic commands in a Linux terminal is a plus
- Business-level English and effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Open and adaptable to new responsibilities and perspectives
Responsibilities
- Participate in all application development lifecycle phases
- Design and develop data mapping based on customer specifications and their business and operational needs
- Support existing EDI partners and process maps
- Collaborate with various experts and third-party vendors to define, create, and integrate new processes into productive systems
- Lead EDI projects from initial design through testing, validation, and implementation
- Assist cross-functional business teams in developing new or modifying existing solutions to meet organizational requirements
- Collaborate with operational and cross-functional teams to develop and execute operational plans and technology solutions
- Diagnose, document, and manage customer needs during deployment/migration
- Prepare complete functional design documentation for implemented solutions
- Provide accurate and timely logging of problems and their resolution
- Coach other team members on EDI-related processes
Description
As an EDI Mapping Developer at Sensata Technologies, you'll have the opportunity to support both day-to-day and new development activities for all Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)-related systems and interface points. This role requires interaction with both internal and external customers and coordination with third-party providers.
