Must:
We are looking for a Lead Enterprise Architect with the following essential qualifications:
- A degree in a Digital Development and Technology discipline (additional information is available upon request).
- A formal architectural qualification in BCS, The Open Group Architecture Framework, Zachman, or Gartner's Enterprise Architecture Method, or equivalent experience.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Expertise in developing and executing enterprise-wide architecture principles, standards, blueprints, roadmaps, and patterns that facilitate solution delivery and drive business value.
- An extensive track record of strategizing and executing transformation initiatives, with direct involvement in business change efforts using cloud environments and integrating various products and cloud services within these dynamic ecosystems.
- Experience in implementing Enterprise Architecture frameworks in real-world business transformation scenarios, with proficiency in frameworks such as TOGAF and/or Zachman and modelling notations such as ArchiMate, UML, or BPMN.
- Skills in crafting strategic visions and roadmaps that provide clarity in complex situations.
- Experience in architecture governance and assurance activities.
- A strong strategic mindset with experience in strategic planning.
- Analytical abilities to gather, analyze, and interpret data for evidence-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, strong motivational skills, and strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders. You should also be adept at communicating, presenting, and negotiating with senior decision-makers to drive impactful change.
Responsibilities
In this role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing enterprise solutions to specific business problems and challenges across one or more Enterprise Architecture domains.
- Assisting with requests for new Digital Transformation work and supporting the development of business cases.
- Being responsible for designing and communicating high-level structures that enable and guide the design and development of solutions meeting current and future business needs, including changes to service, process, organization, and operating models.
- Assessing how societal trends and industry practices may impact our organization.
- Working collaboratively with individuals outside of the organization to inform policies, strategies, and standards.
- Anticipating policy changes and building resilience through your architecture work.
- Coaching others in recognizing important trends.
Description
We offer a competitive salary of £57,515, alongside a digital and data allowance of up to £22,885. Depending on your location, additional allowances such as the London Weighting of £4,000 may apply. This is a full-time position (37 hours per week) with hybrid working options, enabling a balanced work-life arrangement.
