Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years experience developing scalable, web-based applications.
- Strong expertise in React and modern frontend frameworks.
- Deep proficiency in TypeScript and client-side performance optimisation.
- Commercial experience with Ruby on Rails and Node.js.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL).
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Heroku).
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to collaborate across teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver scalable, user-focused features in collaboration with Product and Design teams.
- Lead frontend development using React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS to create seamless user experiences.
- Contribute to backend services using Ruby on Rails and Node.js.
- Optimise application performance, scalability and security across the platform.
- Write and maintain automated tests to ensure reliability and code quality.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers to drive engineering standards.
- Support and contribute to infrastructure across Heroku and AWS.
- Take ownership of technical improvements and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the platform.
