Requirements
Must:
- You must have proven experience in a senior IT service delivery position and be proficient in working with an IT Service Management Platform.
- A relevant IT qualification, such as ITIL 4, Microsoft Certifications (e.g., MD-102, MS-102), or Cisco CCNA is required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills are essential, with the ability to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical users.
- Experience in supporting and maintaining enterprise Windows desktop systems is crucial, and knowledge of Ubuntu LTS (22.04 & 24.04) would be advantageous.
- You should have experience with Microsoft 365 administration including Entra ID, Intune, and Teams.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as PowerShell and Ansible is also desired.
- A solid understanding of IT security principles, data protection, change management, vulnerability, and patch management is expected.
Responsibilities
- You will run the Service Desk, responsible for the health of the service queue, triaging issues, setting and upholding SLAs, following up on issues, and managing the backlog. Additionally, you will collate and report metrics to the IT Manager.
- Acting as the first point of contact for end-users, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues via in-person, email, chat, and phone.
- You will assist with IT aspects of onboarding and offboarding new employees, ensuring they have the necessary equipment, access, and induction training.
- The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, peripherals, operating systems, and applications to defined security baselines, including supporting software like Microsoft Office 365, and hardware such as laptops and videoconferencing equipment.
- You will manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various systems, while maintaining accurate inventory records for IT equipment and assisting in the deployment of new hardware and software.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including user guides and a knowledge base for common issues, will also be part of your role.
