Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in IT infrastructure and operations roles, including in a managerial or leadership capacity
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID (Azure AD) ecosystems
- Experience with Fortinet network devices (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP)
- Strong grasp of cybersecurity principles, compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, GDPR), and business continuity practices
- Ability with PowerShell and exposure to Graph API for automation
- Demonstrated experience managing hybrid environments with Azure and legacy on-prem systems
- Proven ability to manage budgets, vendors, and IT contracts
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee all IT operations across five offices, ensuring reliability, security, and service continuity
- Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement processes
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and documentation to maintain a high standard of service delivery
- Report regularly to senior leadership on system performance, projects, and risks
- Own and optimise Sedulos Azure environment, including Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Desktop, App Services, and hybrid domain services
- Ensure robust Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and Intune configuration for identity, access, and device management
- Collaborate with senior engineers to evolve the cloud infrastructure in line with business goals
- Supervise the management of SQL back-end systems, Azure App Services, and containerised environments
