Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with experience in network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. You should also have knowledge of firewall configuration and management, including NAT, Firewall, Web Filter, VPN, and Secure Service Edge. Furthermore, experience with Windows Server 2016 and the Microsoft 365 suite is essential. While not mandatory, some experience in Azure design and security would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will require you to work internally and with partners to support and make changes to our existing infrastructure estate. You will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line infrastructure support and will play a key role in identifying, creating, and applying service and operational performance metrics, controls, procedures, processes, tools, techniques, and standards. I expect you to ensure that new infrastructure services are built, documented, and delivered into business operation on time and within budget, meeting defined quality standards.
Description
This position is for an Infrastructure Engineer with a salary of up to £65K, located in Chippenham, and requires you to be on-site three days a week. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, and the role offers a mix of 80% project work and 20% support work, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to our cloud adoption efforts in Azure.
