Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer with experience in the AWS platform, including services like Cloud Compute, EC2, ECS, Lambda, RSD, and IAM. A solid background in Linux administration (preferably Red Hat or Debian) is essential, along with proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PERL, Python, or PowerShell. Familiarity with Git/version control systems is required, and experience with Terraform and knowledge of programming (preferably Go/Golang) are important assets. Desirable skills include relevant AWS/HashiCorp certifications and experience with MySQL or Postgres. Excellent communication skills and demonstrable experience in similar roles are also crucial.
Responsibilities
In the role of Site Reliability Engineer, you will focus on maintaining and enhancing all aspects of our technical estate. Your day-to-day duties will include creating infrastructure solutions, automating processes, improving CI/CD practices, reviewing proposed changes, and planning cost-effective modifications to the infrastructure. You will communicate these changes to the broader team, ensuring alignment and understanding across different functions, including Development and Infrastructure teams, project managers, and other stakeholders.
