- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview
- Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders
- Experience producing clear documentation
- Familiarity with regulated or security-focused environments
- Knowledge of data protection regulations is highly beneficial
Responsibilities
- Ensure effective governance of information assets across the organisation
- Support secure data handling, regulatory compliance, and best practice information management
- Help embed robust governance processes and controls
- Focus on classification, retention, and protection of data
- Oversee information governance activities across the full data lifecycle
- Support the application of security controls
- Maintain governance documentation
- Contribute to compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
- Report into the Cyber Governance, Risk and Compliance function
Description
We are a customer-focused service provider looking to appoint an Information Governance Analyst with strong Purview experience to join our Cyber Security function based near Chester. This role offers a hybrid working model, with two days per week onsite. You will play a key role in ensuring our information assets are governed effectively, working closely with stakeholders to support secure data handling and regulatory compliance.
