Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and how to apply them throughout the PDLC
- Demonstrable coding experience in JavaScript and React.js
- Strong people leadership skills, including performance management, coaching, and development planning
- Experience designing, building, and iterating commercial web, back-end, or cloud-based applications
- Hands-on experience writing, testing, and releasing high-quality JavaScript code
- Experience with CI/CD, reusable components, and engineering best practices
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them effectively
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence positive outcomes
- Experience mentoring and supporting less experienced engineers
Responsibilities
- Guide teams in technology and delivery for scalable, modern software solutions
- Enable engineers to perform at their best through mentoring and coaching
- Contribute across the full product development lifecycle in an Agile environment
- Champion best engineering practices and encourage innovation
- Work with modern back-end and cloud-based systems
- Write and review JavaScript code, shaping solutions using Infrastructure as Code
- Challenge the status quo and ensure high standards of engineering quality
